A talented line-up of finalists in the sixth annual Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest will compete for the contest’s top cash and in-kind prizes during the Wisconsin Entrepreneurs’ Conference at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee.
The contestants will present between 10 a.m. and noon July 9 at the Hyatt Regency, 300 W. Kilbourn. More than $200,000 in cash and in-kind prizes will be awarded to those contestants and 12 other finalists.

Twenty-one finalists from 14 communities are competing in the finalist round of the sixth annual Wisconsin Governor's Business Plan Contest, contest producers announced April 3.
"The business plans in the final round reflect some of Wisconsin's core technology strengths, as well as the fact that entrepreneurs can be found in all corners of the state," said Mark Bugher, chairman of the Tech Council. "It's worth noting that a number of contestants ahve taken part in related programs that honed their business plans and presentation skills."

Fifty entries from 26 communities have advanced to the semi-final round of the sixth annual Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest, contest producers announced February 25.
The contestants were selected from a field of 326 first-round entries by an independent panel of judges organized through the Wisconsin Technology Council, which is producing the contest in conjunction with its membership subsidiary, the Wisconsin Innovation Network, the Wisconsin Angel Network and other statewide affiliates.
